Motivated by the abundance of vanilla fly fishing web sites full of "professionals" leading meaningless discussions, TroutDirt is a refuge for normal fishermen who don't care to pimp out their rivers, and brag with hero shots. With that said, say hello on the bulletin board, and read the blog if you need some entertainment. Feel free to peruse what little merchandise we offer. The flies here are all simple but effective patterns we've come up with over the years for specific situations, mostly on our home waters. And the gear, well, that's ever changing.
