About Us
Troudirt is a small group of fly fishermen marooned in the midwest. Troutdirt was started in the summer of 2008 in Columbus Ohio, and was initially intended as a way to record our fishing ideas, experiences, and misadventures. The idea is the same now; we're just offering it to a wider audience. We are by no means professionals, and do not intend to conduct ourselves so. While there will always be alot of fishing content on Troutdirt, don't expect to find the latest greatest spot to fish, or how to cast, or what our favorite 5wt is. That's just not our bag. Do expect dink fishing reports, travel logs, and light hearted commentary on anything that we feel like sounding off on. We don't take ourselves too seriously, and neither should you. So, enjoy the site, let us know what you like, and share your experiences on the bulletin board.
