Bead Body Pupa
A simple to tie, extended body caddis pupa. A few craft beads, some thick mono, and a lighter are all you need. This fly ties fast, and fishes pretty well too.
Mad Henny
Hendrickson nymph with a wide body profile to match the naturals. The lead underbody also helps it get down to sluggish fish in chilly April waters.
Molting Nymph
A light colored poxy back designed to look like a newly molted nymph.
TD Nymph (olive)
Based off the molting nymph, and tied in different colors/sizes, the TD works well as an attractor when there's no specific bug to imitate.
Vitamin
A steelhead attractor that has found it's way into my trout nymph box. It's basically a soft hackled hare's ear with an orange bead head and some rubber legs.
