Schwag Preview
Our long awaited entry into the clothing market has arrived. The screens have been burned and the t-shirts pre-shrunk. Ok, they came that way, but it's one less thing we have to do. Each shirt is printed by our own steady, caffeine buzzed hands, late at night, in the troutdirt schwag factory (my basement). We can't promise perfect prints, and there may be the occasional inky fingerprint. Though, what we lack in print mastery, we more than make up for in product love. These shirts are printed in super small runs. Color schemes may vary, and designs are bound to change. Our margins are slim, but delivering a unique, quality product at a decent price is our number one goal.
Graphic T-s
Indeed, graphic tees are a dime a dozen these days. That's why we thought we'd jump on the bandwagon. Honestly though, has anyone met your expressionistic needs as a fly fisherman yet? Tired looking just like everyone else with P@t@goni@ and $imms plastered on their chest? Why not wear our designs? They might not be high art, but we think they're cool. Oh, we don't have any high tech moisture wicking, love handle grabbing, polystyrene armor though. Just good old 100% cotton.
Here are all of the designs that are currently on the presses. The color schemes tend to vary with our moods. So, if there are any specific color combos you like, let us know and maybe we'll print it.
Hats
Picking out the right fishing cap can be hit or miss. I personally prefer low profile cotton ballcaps, or soft mesh backed hats. We've found a few hats we like but the color selection is limited. We're trying to source a local embroiderer as well. New hats will be coming soon, but t-shirts are the priority at the moment.
Landing Nets
Since I've managed to lose/break all of my custom nets in the last few years, it's time to put on the safety goggles and open up the wood shop. Over the summer we'll be producing at least 2 different nets. We're settling on the designs and dimensions, and working on getting some nice wood. Plan on seeing a trout net, and a longer handled boat net with a larger basket. And don't plan on these nets being delicate and light as a feather. The laminations will be thick, and of strong woods (osage orange/ash/maple).
Flies
We are not doing individual fly orders anymore. As we've taken on quite a bit of production tying, there just isn't time to tie small orders/keep a large inventory. If you're interested in a bulk order, or just really really want some of our patterns, drop us a line.
Orders
How can you get your hands on this schwag you ask? Well, it isn't as easy as we'd like it to be. Stand by for a list of retailers carrying our products. Direct web sales are a ways off as we're working out the banking kinks (we're fly fishermen, not lawyers). If you can't get what you want from a retailer, or just want something custom or specific, shoot us an email with your request. We'll do our best to put a shirt on your back so you can get into that fast food joint (shoes are your responsibility).
